Panathinaikos AKTOR Athens defeated Bayern Munich 80-69 in their final EuroLeague contest of 2024. It was a very meaningful win for the Greens, who had just lost their star center Mathias Lessort due to a broken fibula that will keep him out for approximately four months.
But there was good news. New player Wenyen Gabriel did very well in his first game. He scored 6 points, got 8 rebounds, and blocked 5 shots. Because of Gabriel and his teammates, Panathinaikos worked hard and won the game. It was a great way to finish the year. The team showed they can handle anything, even when things are tough.
