The Wellshift App is a revolutionary new method of enhancing personal well-being, focusing on how the power of small actions translates to everyday well-being. The Kickstarter was not simply about raising money—it was also about demonstrating market demand and building a following for this life-altering platform. I was the funding consultant focusing on strategy and implementation.
The numbers tell the story. The campaign was supposed to raise $15,020 and it raised $16,780, achieving 112% of its goal in 30 days. We built a reward system that provided value at each level. This was to help ensure that backers felt invested in the success of the platform and had real rewards to gain from it.
We ran an aggressive marketing strategy on several channels. The campaign was successful because it was able to clearly show the way Wellshift allows people to stick to their wellness habits.
Exceeding the fundraising goal signified more than extra dollars—it signaled that new health solutions are what people want. The team of Wellshift was busy creating and bringing these solutions to life using the supporters' trust to drive meaningful results. The excitement and motivation they gained through the campaign energized the team to bring everyday wellness into reach for everyone.
As the funding advisor on this project, I assisted in planning and executing the project. Together with the Wellshift team, I designed a campaign that mobilized supporters and reached its funds targets. This case study is one of the numerous successful crowdfunding campaigns that I have had the privilege to work on from initial idea to completion.
