A team of marine scientists launched a crowdfunding campaign from November to December 2024.

7 weeks, 345,000 dollars raised.

5,000 donors contributed to the project.

Use the money to create protected zones around Pacific coral reefs.

$150,000 is spent on underwater surveillance equipment.

$100,000 goes to train local fishing communities as reef monitors.

$95,000 covers marine education in schools along the coasts.

The campaign has beaten the initial target of $300,000.

Implementation begins February 2025.

Equipment installation starts March 2025.

Training programs launch April 2025.
